The Art of Aïta

It underwent significant evolution during the Caidan period in the history of the Moroccan Makhzen in the 19th century. Researchers classify this art into nine styles: Aïta Hassbawia, Marsawia, Zaaeria, Shiadimia, Filalia, Houzia, Mallalia, Jablia, and Khroubkia. This festival seeks to preserve and protect this art, which is deeply rooted in Morocco’s culture, while highlighting its various styles, forms, and schools.
