The International Book and Publishing Fair
The Inteational Book and Publishing Fair represents the coerstone of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts regarding the publishing sector and serves as the foremost cultural event through which the Ministry fosters Morocco’s cultural scene.
Under the high patronage of the late King Hassan II, the first edition of the Inteational Book and Publishing Fair was held between 30 October and 8 November 1987. The 28th edition took place in 2023.
Casablanca hosted the 25th edition of the Inteational Book and Publishing Fair from 7 to 17 February 2019. The event brought together 720 exhibitors from 42 countries, with Spain as the guest of honour.
