Crafting Essaouira’s Boat – Essaouira’s Fellouca

The craft centres located along the Atlantic coastline near Essaouira traditionally specialised in crafting a unique type of fishing boat. Over time, the craftsmen developed these ancient designs, drawing inspiration from boats that were used to ferry goods from the coast to anchored vessels.
