The International Book and Publishing Fair
The Inteational Book and Publishing Fair represents the coerstone of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts regarding the publishing sector and serves as the foremost cultural event through which the Ministry fosters Morocco’s cultural scene.
Under the high patronage of the late King Hassan II, the first edition of the Inteational Book and Publishing Fair was held between 30 October and 8 November 1987. The 28th edition took place in 2023.
Casablanca hosted the 22nd edition of the Inteational Book and Publishing Fair from 11 to 21 February 2016. The event brought together 668 exhibitors from 44 countries, with the United Arab Emirates as the guest of honour.
